If you have sincerely begun to watch your own thoughts dispassionately you will likely have already seen diminish

Exercise Present Moment Awareness
pick one day to do everything deliberately and unhurriedly
no watching a show while typing out your outline

really listen to others

dont berate yourself if you lose the witness

if you can summon a couple dozen times a day you are doing well
You will immediately notice you are less carried away
if you retain the witness in throes of emotion even better
If massive resistance to the eating mindfully
use gentle force to try no more
overtime resistance will go away
People notice they are full long before their plate is empty
Sustained weight loss occurs frequently
Trying to be mindful at all times is challenging
common to feel over whelmed
If you begin to feel overwhelmed simplify
pick a couple of slots no longer than 10 - 15 mins duration
as you become more comfortable expand on the time

As your practice grows, you witness will grow stronger
