Lindsey and Woody - Lindsey, hopefully you had some time to review the materials provided! ;) If you need some more time, let me know. Did we want to setup a date and time to get back together, probably next week? Below is the email that Shawna sent out earlier this week – you can look around on the 3I Instructor website and find some good stuff (some still works in progress – ie – videos). The link below will also get you to that lesson plan we chatted about. I will get you the eXtreme class format in the next day or so – I have to dig it out of the archives! You are also more than welcome to come to any of the training events we have. I encourage anyone who is ‘just a coach’ to come, because our coaches play a big role in motivating our folks, and also help a ton with form and technique… Woody Little Director of Training woody@lovefitnesskickboxing.com woodylittle@extremebodyshaping.com 515-229-9687 From: Shawna Weis [mailto:shawnaweis@extremebodyshaping.com] Sent: Monday, February 08, 2010 11:20 AM To: amber_m_reed@hotmail.com; amberr@performancemarketing.com; ANDREA LUCAS; Andrea Lucas- work; Angie Criger- home; Anne Cameron; Ariane Criger;arianecriger@bpcdm.com; Bobbie Areges-home; bobbie.areges@wellsfargo.com; chriskristine@msn.com; cjs@performancemarketing.com; Criger, A. Please RSVP here if you haven’t already! o RT @ 11:00am-1:30pm o KB @ 1:45-3:30pm • Instructor Certification Class- Saturday March 6 (Applications due February 20) o I know we’ve had several updates regarding training events, but the details keep changing just a bit! The official word from Todd Dorr now is attached – the flyer is also posted on the Instructor board by the office. If you plan to test to the next level, or pretest to level 3, you must turn in your application to the location manager by February 20. This is a new procedure. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AT THE DOOR! All applications are on the instructor login of the website. Remember that the login is FXB10, and the password is Levelten. • CPR and First Aid class- February 20th at the Farrell’s Beaverdale location- $35 payment must be made to reserve your spot! • Instructor Spotlight Recap- The newsletter is uploaded to the 3I Fitness Instructor Website, but please review the following additional topics discussed: o An “elbow strike” to the bag involves hitting with the flat part of your arm, not actually dragging your elbow across the bag. o A “boxer stance” isn’t bouncing up and down. We’re maintaining balance with our feet on the ground. o Hook punches don’t come from behind your shoulder blades. Bring the elbow up and use your body to turn into the punch, not just swing the arm. Turn into the bag using the core! o The word “push” is quickly becoming a four-letter word to me! If we do front kicks on the bag, explain to strike the bag with the heel of the foot and pop the bag. POP, don’t PUSH. o RT- count when the band is fully stretched at the point of most exertion. • Resistance Lesson Plan- check out the link at the bottom of the instructor site. It’s a great tool to use for planning out our RT classes.http://www.lovefitnesskickboxing.com/FXB_Resistance_Class_Lesson_Plan.pdf Don’t forget to have a great day! 1. Bands

Thanks for the hard work on this bands inventory. We are doing something that is going to help us set a good stage going forward here. It also sounds like we are closing in on wrapping this up. From reviewing the numbers today, we need to take another look at Grimes. Brad and Woody, it will take you both meeting at Grimes with Nicole to review how to handle Grimes. Then we can get to a final expense request and order the bands to close these gaps. The final item on this will be to put a consistent mark on existing inventory so we can visually track which bands are breaking. In the future, we should be barcoding and tracking these to see how long each last in the facility (incase we get bad batches, etc). Nolan, Brad is going to be getting with you to get an update on your other projects. I would like to get a status update on where we are with these. Thank you. Eddie
