5. The "PROMPTER" template is a useful tool for understanding a business situation. It provides topics for the People involved, their Responsibilities, the Objects they work with, their Measures of success (or failure), the Places they work at, periods of Time, Events they must respond to and the Rules that they must follow. Metaphor: A prompter assists a performer when they forget their lines in the same way that a checklist prompts the recall of facts.
