The Patrix (patriarchal matrix of oppression)
Central to the thinking amongst Gaia University actionists on this topic is the idea that no-one in the current culture is either free of oppression or free of acting as an oppressor. Everybody deserves the opportunity to explore the ways in which our cultures are oppressive to us and, through struggling for liberation from these oppressions, we enable our true humanity to emerge. Meanwhile our own liberation process enables us to see how we act out our roles as oppressors and how to let go of doing this. Our process of choice for understanding the dynamics of oppression and liberation and for working against the continuation of oppression is Re-evalution Counseling (www.rc.org)
The Patrix consists of a complex, intersecting system of constructed memes.
Primary divisive device is class system
Transnational Capitalist Class & remnant Aristocracies
