Setup:
No Setup. You can download the zip file above, unzip it to a new folder, and then launch XMind directly without installation. This package is a combination of Windows/Mac/Linux version. You can even unzip it to an USB drive, and take it with you wherever you go.
Requirements:
For Windows User:
- Windows XP/Vista/7/8.
- Microsoft Word/PowerPoint installed for "Export to Word/Powerpoint".
- Internet connection for certain features (like Share).
For Mac User:
- Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard and later.
- Java for Mac OS X, the latest version. (Using "Software Update" in the system menu to update.)
- Internet connection for certain features (like Share).
For Linux User:
- GTK.
- LAME installed for the feature of "Audio Notes".
- JVM. (Only Sun JRE/OpenJDK/IBM JRE/BEA JRockit are supported. Don't use an unsupported JVM.)
