Use Fishbone Diagram with Mind Mapping

In XMind, it's easy to use this great tool:

  1. Right-click a topic for the "fish head", and choose 'Structure'->'Fishbone'.
  2. Use "Enter" and "Tab" to create main "bones" and sub "bones".
  3. You can apply any structure to any brunch if necessary.
  4. Fishbone diagram is also useful in project management or activity progress control scenarios, where time sequencing is a concern. A series of activities that impact the project's progress, as well as their time order connections, can be clearly illustrated.

  4. Double-click the column title to edit it.
  5. Double-click the cell to create a new cell topic. 'Enter' works too.
  6. Try drag-and-drop on anything.
