There is also Android app – ThinkingSpace that can handle freemind files, so can be used with XMind’s export feature.
@kebe do you know how to contact its developers?
are there any plans for supporting Windows Mobile?
HTC HD2 is a good alternative to iPhone
no, no windows mobile although I’m using WM6.1
Android has a much brighter future.
Great work, talk about interoperability!
BTW I missed the post about the new version, thanks for listening to the community with regards to the new features!
I use these two together (iThoughts, XMind) and have thusfar been immensely pleased. iThoughts 3.0 was just released on iPhone and wow, what an improvement!
Also saved between XMind/iThoughts are Linked topics. I don’t believe that this was mentioned in the original post.

Thanks for sharing this nice article.
FYI. I realize this is an old post, but ThinkSpace is abandon ware, and is now Mindjet. Mindjet claims Xmind compatibility, but it fails to support this file type in tests.
oh, where Mindjet claims that?
Salut Johann.
It claims it in the description. If you download it, you can select what kind of format to save your maps, and you can select Xmind as the format over Mindjet. Also, it works with maps in xmind that have a single worksheet in the workbook. It does not display the notes in the nodes so it still has issues.
If you tell the truth about how exactly youe feeling, it gets humorous.
